Fear of injections - Trypanophobia can create intense stress, anxiety, and physical discomfort, even when we rationally understand that injections are safe and necessary.
This client decided to explore the root of this fear through hypnotherapy, hoping to finally feel calm and at ease during medical situations.
After entering a relaxed state, the client naturally connected with a younger version of himself.
This part of the session was filled with warmth and joy. He spent time with his younger self, feeling closeness, safety, and genuine happiness.
This early connection created a strong emotional foundation that allowed deeper work to unfold naturally.
As the session continued, a childhood memory surfaced involving a hospital visit with his parents.
Within this memory, the client became aware of strong fear and stress that had never been fully processed.
Rather than avoiding the feeling, the fear was gently experienced and allowed to move through the body.
As the emotion was felt and released, its intensity began to soften.
Next, we explored whether any subconscious beliefs were reinforcing the fear of injections.
Together, we identified a belief formed in childhood:
"Needles don’t belong in the body."
This belief had been held unconsciously for many years and was directly linked to the emotional reaction.
The client was then invited to choose a new belief that felt calm, safe, and supportive.
He chose to feel completely okay and at ease with injections.
To complete the session, gentle therapeutic suggestions were offered to support calm in future situations involving injections.
These suggestions allowed the subconscious mind to integrate the experience naturally, without force or pressure.
This session showed how hypnotherapy can help resolve fears by addressing their emotional and subconscious roots.
By reconnecting with the inner child, processing stored emotions, and updating limiting beliefs, the client experienced a meaningful shift toward calm and ease.
Hypnotherapy offers a gentle way to work with phobias, anxiety, and deeply held fears — creating space for real and lasting change.
